A Site Plan is generally necessary whenever applying for zoning permits. This may include a fence or an addition to you home. The Site Plan is used to determine issues such as set back limitations, drainage, green space and landscaping.
A Site Plan is a bird's eye view of your property as if you were looking down at it from above. A site plan shows what is on your property now, including homes, garages, and storage buildings and should show any improvements such as driveway, walkways, fences and swimming pools on the property. A site plan should also show any proposed buildings or improvements.
